Heading there tomorrow for 3 days, been 30 years since I have been there

Slow, slow, slow. My first time on the lake was Saturday. Had a few hits on a frog, but no real takers. Spinnerbait gave me one decent keeper. Also a tx rig 10" rage anaconda in honey candy deep in the slop for a small one.

The lake is probably fishing like it was 30 years ago. Pretty easy shallow bite on almost anything you want to throw. Just fish your shallow confidence baits and you should do well.

two weeks ago we caught some on frogs.

Caught them on frogs and skinny dipper last week. Caught a lot and had some big ones. The flat by Titus Co ramp is loaded with fish

Was there last Saturday, got 7 on a frog, flipped 4 more in the weeds, and got 3 on a fluke. All are up shallow. I graphed out deep and found a school but only turned out to be white bass.

There are some fish back out deep on some of the points tons of fish up shallow getting more rain today too

There is also a very detailed report that Jay Kendrick posted a few days ago for Sandlin. If you search his name you should find it.

I'll be out there this weekend as well. I have not fished Sandlin in a few weeks but they were up shallow then. Flukes and a few frog fish.

I fished there yesterday I did ok in Shallow areas on Watermelon Superflukes and Hollow body green frogs around lily pads I launched from ST Park and also found sand bass schooling around bridge by park side all caught on sexy shad 6-10 crankbait It was my first time there so don't have any names of the specific areas I will sure be back though

Hadn't seen anything on here since last week. Any updates? Thinking of maybe trying it Sunday. Wanted to see what the fishing was like this last week if anyone had any recent experience there.
