I have been using TFO Rods for several years now and absolutely love them, and have had absolutely no problems with them. There are two series: the Signature Series which retails for $100 and the Tactical Series which retails for $150. Either way you can't go wrong. Simply put, they are great rods at great prices.

I like dobyns better, bought into the hype of TFO rods ended up getting my money back, didn't like their balance.

Fished with Dobyns a couple of years and they're good rods. Fish with Denali Rods now and couldn't be happier with overall performance and reliablity. Cheaper in initial cost and better warranty. Middle of the road Denali Kovert series is hard to beat!

I'm gonna have to go with Denali. I like the Rosewood. Just bought my 4th. I've got a couple of Loomis GLX rods, one is 12 years old and it is a Great Rod. Bought another about 2 months ago and it is as nice as my original is. Started buying the Denali Rods just over a year ago and I was Very impressed. Light, sensitive, well balanced and Great backbone. I don't think there is a nicer rod for under $200 than a Denali Rosewood !

Dobyns has just released the Fury series, worth looking at.

I own 8 Dobyns Rods. If you don't mind constantly replacing guide inserts, spending $70 for replacement fees when they break and not receiving the replacement for weeks then Dobyns is a great "feeling" rod. I could have bought 8 Loomis NRX's for the amount I have spent on Dobyn's rods after repair costs.
I would normally blame myself for these issues, however none of my other rods have this problem. I am in the process of changing rods.

I have owned both Dobyns and Denali, will own more Dobyns, wouldn't take a free Denali. Wait, yes I would, and I would sell it immediately on here without taking a single cast with it.

I just lost an insert on a Dobyns Champion swimbait rod and it triggered me to do some research. I found that the inserts falling out is a common issue on the rods. I have been more than happy with the blank, but being out of a rod on an out of town trip because an insert fell out is a deal breaker. I've had $50 bass pro rods hold up to more abuse for 10X as long. I'll be buying something else for my next swimbait rod.

Same here 12 Dobyns owned and have replace guides probably 20 times in the last 3 years. Like the rods. Guides are awful.
I have Loomis Glx rods that are 15+ years old and never had a problem. New Loomis, Ive had have same problem, Just not as often.

1 Dobyns Champion Flipping rod. 1 year of light use. 2 guide insert failures. The only 2 failures I've ever had. I do like everything else about the rod, but no longer thrust the guides.
