Planning on going to LOP in the morning, any suggestions on where to go? Never fished the lake post spawn.

Into the Flooded Woods....be my guess. It's REAL high.

We fished our club tourney Sat and it seemed like keying on the outside edge of the flooded grass in 4-8' of water was key. Flukes and frogs over top of the grass and flipping brush-hogs into the grass worked for me and others. I tried up in the shallowest stuff but no luck. Water temp was in the mid 70s and it was really clear up in Johnson's Creek. It was about 3' high but you can still see water marks on the trees where it has been at least 2' higher recently. I hadn't been to the lake but once before so didn't run around anywhere but Johnson's.

I fished the same tournament Rudy mentioned above. Prefished on Friday and caught them really good on a Yellow Magic and pitching around willow bushes. The sun came out a little more during the tournament on Saturday and the fish I was catching went up thick in the willow bushes. I would punch right in to the heart and darkest part of the willow bush and they would be there most of the time. It had to be willow bushes. There were other bushes all around but the bass weren't in them. The problem for me was, the areas I fished only had a limited amount of willow bushes, so my pattern was limited. I caught mostly smaller fish on Saturday, but lost a real good one in an isolated willow.

So, put on a 1/2 weight and a beaver bait and find an area with a bunch of willows and you will catch them.

Good luck!

Thanks for the help. Caught a few fish on the upper side of the 155 bridge, may head to Johnson in the morning.

The main lake will be crowded with pleasure boaters. If you fish in alley, or Johnson you should be able to avoid most of the traffic. If you go north of 155 and there are pleasure boaters they are without a doubt the biggest idiots on the lake

There will be two derbies on the lake Saturday so I would think it will be crowded.

Johnson's will be crowded. Stay north of Johnson's and you should be fine.
