blues ... all your bigguns are going to be on the nests ... under cattails mostly if all your lakes are like tawakoni and ray hubbard... this is the time of year that all the fish have just left the lakes up here in okla to run up river for the spawn as blues are migratory spawners ... in ray hubbard and tawakoni they don't have that kind of tributaries so they nest locally which ideal nesting areas are under the cattails and stuff like that. by July 1 the bigguns will be back out to play but not too much before that ... might be sooner down there but not that much sooner
