Have any of you checked out the new Garmin Fish Finders?

echoMAP™ 73sv has DI, SI and chirp radar on a 7 inch color screen for $999

I saw them at Bass Pro and played around with it for a little while and was extremely impressed. The kicker is it is like a Hummingbird and only needs one transducer. Pretty sweet for $1k imo

Question about battery life. On the website is is listed as 7.1W on the power consumption. I am using a 12V battery 7.0 A/h battery and really have no idea how long of battery life I would get with that unit. Any help would be appreciated.

7.1W is a little less than .6 amps. That's not bad but you would need a bigger battery if you plan on fishing a tournament or all day.
