I've been wanting to hit up Bachman for a while now. Sounds good! me2 Is there online and/or advance registration available or is it solely onsite "morning of"?
This might be the weirdest, most pointless post ever. I am not against golf, since I cannot but suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering fishing

We'll do it all on Saturday morning.

Good possibility of breaking those and adding a crappie record.

is it still going to be 7-12? Or are the times going to be different since the location changed? Are the other events still being held at the yacht club? So can we go from one to the other for the rest of the weekend?

So can we go from one to the other for the rest of the weekend? Leaving the start time the same but thinking about extending it until 2 pm. All other events are cancelled and being rescheduled due to the area of the yacht club being so rain soaked and the forecast of more rain. I'm still working on where we will register and weigh in. I should be posting that tomorrow.

Weather permitting, here's the plan. Registration at 6:30 AM in the WalMart parking lot at 9410 Webb Chapel Rd Dallas, TX 75220. This is right across the street from the lake. Look for my little white car with the blue Slayer Propel on top. The tournament will start at 7 AM and end at 2 PM. You have to be in the weigh in line no later than 2:30 PM in the same location as registration (WalMart). Best 5 fish in each category wins. All fish must be photographed on a Hawg Trough with the identifier (written on your hand) in the picture. 10 inch minimum length. Catfish may be caught on live or dead bait. All other species must be caught on artificial baits. Roadrunner launch anywhere on the lake. Entry fee is $20 per category. You can fish one, two, or three categories. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. All entry fees will be donated to the DFW Chapter of Heroes on the Water. Mariner Sails is sponsoring the first 15 Wounded Veterans that sign up by paying their entry fee.

Ive never been to bachman. Does anybody mind sharing some of the commonly known access points? You can launch from the bank anywhere in the park. They also have a boat ramp but it is generally pretty crazy and there's not much parking for it. I plan to launch from the bank on the NW Hwy side.

I see, can i leave my truck anywhere along shorecrest drive on the south? Or is it better to leave it on the parking lot at lakefield park and launch on the north?
