Good luck!!! Water comn' out 1000 mph. Don't waste ur time n gas,not to mention the 7$ u gotta pay!! I wuzz down there yesterday,so wuzz every 1 and their moms plus the news crews.3 game wardens n 2 sheriffs,I snagged 2 buffalloes,atleast I didn't skunk!!

Water coming out crazy fast. There is an eddy on the side that is fishable. Many catfish coming out of that hole.

Went out there again tonight. Letting out MUCH less water. Only gar spotted in the eddy next to dam under light. Guys were catching some huge crappie though in the other eddy where their was no light. Dang things had to be close to 3lbs!! Not many, maybe 3-4 in about 2 hours.
On a side note, they had about 4 game wardens out there checking everyone out. They mentioned a huge log jam close to Lake Lewisville probably preventing any hybrids from making it up.

Just got back from the spillway. Caught alot of little drum and didn't look like anyone else was catching anything. Also got a ticket for not paying the $7 fee saw alot of other cars with the same thing. Wouldn't waste your time or gas.

I got the ticket too, but the warden told me to just pay it now or when I came next time and include the ticket in the envelope with the fee and they would take my vehicle off their records.
