Pk is only 6 feet from full pool. The flow in from the brazos is getting back to normal. Measurement at Seymour is about 1000 CFS from 11,000 a few days back. It will take a big rain to fill er up.

The amount of rain we have received in a short period is crazy in itself.
If we were to see PK and Bridgeport back full it would be flat amazing.

I'm going out to check on things this week. I think I'll take the boat out just to see what's up. The lake has not been this high since I lived there.
Not sure how we'll fish in all those flooded weeds...

Doubt I'll be going that far up lake. I'll be checking out stuff closer to the dam.

The Seymour area is hopefully getting some rain this next week so Pk will continue filling up to pool so we can have our old lake back!

Those big ol' striper will have a hayday with all that water. Sure hope the amount of runoff it's getting delutes the salt enough to keep the golden algae down. Looks like we will be having some fun times next month after the rain slows down some. This season should be awesome.

Should the fishing easier or harder as the water gets back up? is it gonna get harder and then all the sudden it's gonna get really good? or just really good ?

harder catching until the fish get oriented to their comfortable depth, bait fish locations, water temps, water clarity, etc. Then should get easier after WE get oriented to where they are located and what they can see and want to eat.
