I think Texoma is off the table for me for a while. I don't have one of those rapala otters like John Blasingame so I I need the water to clear up. I can launch my inflatable without a ramp but I don't want to wade through floating trash to launch. USGS shows a huge bunch of water still coming. No telling how hight Texoma will get.

On another note. All the guys that keep boats on the lake that are not covered or hang out from under the cover. Marinas are turning power off as water rises. With the rain and other things if your boat keep filling with rain water your pumps will run batteries down. After that if water continuos' to come in from rain or other ways your boat may sink. In the flood 1990 I saw several boat below water tight windows and doors. It is very expensive to have it recovered. I would not count on the marinas to call or watch your boat. As hard as the guys at marines try their have more work now then they can handle.
I heard all kinds of stories with the low water where boats were siting on dirt and marines supposedly did not call.

PKfishin why do you continually come on here with all the negative comments about Lake Texoma? Lake Texoma was built for flood control. A slow rising lake may cause property damage but a river out of control can easily cause loss of life. The corps. manages the discharges with loss of life as the major concern. With the lake level and the forecast of more rain it is very likely the lake will remain high for quite some time. With the loss of tourist traffic guides will need all the support they can get. Fishing is and will continue to be awesome this spring and summer so call up your favorite guide and get booked. By the way PKfishing I really think if you booked a trip up here on Texoma it would be money well spent. There are some great guides up here and you could learn more in one trip than you would learn in years on your own.

The boat won't fit in my Garage down there.

I might use a guide later in the year. Normally in the spring fish are easy to catch even with the
raft.
