Had troubles with the ignition switch falling apart. Decided to go the toggle and push button route. I wire the switches like in the drawing. The motor starts up and shut down no problem. Is this acceptable or am i missing something. What is the purple wire for. Thanks

I don`t see any advantage to this. Purple will be accessories

No advantages just a fix for the problem with material on hand.

Toggle and push button ignition done. Looks ok something different.
