Yellow Bass everywhere! went out last night with the south wind and fished for 15-20 minutes, all that ate my bait were 3-4" yellow bass that were hiding in the cove. I decided to throw my cast net out and caught 14 yellow bass in one throw, all 3-4" long. grrr, only 1 sunfish in the net after 3 throws. where are my crappie hiding!

Yeah and as a result of piping in water the same is true for lake weatherford. Yellow bass are a huge nuisance at times there. You gotta wonder if some of these lakes with an over abundance of small yellow bass can have the regulations loosened to allow using them for bait, on a lake specific basis.

I tried to eat a bunch a few weeks ago fried up crispy......lots of trouble as an experiment and so many bones but good...................Comment does not neccessarily mean I was otherwise skunked, .....could mean that, however.

Fillet em, and eat em right away and they are close second to crappie. Not so much after they have been frozen.
