Anybody fish here lately? I'm planning a 3 day float/fish/camping trip with a buddy of mine and wanted to get on some good fish... Any comments,tips,suggestions welcome

If you was floating from loop 340 bridge towards Marlin i could tell you where to fish , But no idea up North

I seem to get the same info... Not many people know much about the north end.. I guess I'll have to let you guys know when I go!

Hey redmist I love fishing that area. My buddies and me do weekend kayak floats and have our same two camp spots and always catch tons of fish. We troll for gasper and use it as cut bait as well as homemade cheese bait I've been making.

I'd like to add that stretch of river is full of hogs. I've never been and not seen at least 20.4

Have ya'll found the old truck in the bank passed the waterplant ? the next bend down from that is where we always killed the big yellers .

Well, hopefully I'll find em on this stretch of the river... But I might have to make a trip towards Waco one weekend and checkout yalls spots:)

Island is one spot and a deep hole with rock bottom we always do damage. Several fish over 20 have came from that area.
