Lake Texoma this morning at 619.16 a lot more water coming!

Yep, a good highwater period will do the lake some good.

I guess it will go muddy all the way to the dam. Bad weather has kept me home so I can only guess. Don't want to be on that lake in a little boat with a storm.

At 620-22 several Boat ramps start to become un-useful.. this is a Huge change for Texoma, but I have seen it twice over the Spill Way... but that is a long way from where we are currently 640 is Spillway. it will keep most the Yahoos of the Lake, so we can get our fishing done. lol

Another 2ft and the road by N dock at highport will be under water. Enough rain already! It sure is funny, last year was all the doom and gloom talk about how lake texoma would never be the same and it had never been so low blah blah blah. Now look at it! People are freaking out about the possibility of flooding.

I guess the one positive side is i wont have to hear people bitch about the lack of rain.

Chiprat: I was just going thru looking at post and was not going to log in, and then you have to go and make a stupid comment. The "Yahoos" as you put it are the smart ones. Your the idiot. You can see the trees floating know in a week they will be 6" under the water and still floating. Wait until you hit one of those running 30 mph. Then we will see who is the yahoo and who is the idiot. LOL

I don't even fish when it is like this, I know what is out there, and have been on Texoma since 1980. I was only talking about pleasure boaters.. Man, we are touchy. I have seen a 30 ft tree that really looked like a small Branch, and pulled it with my boat to a safe place to protect folks. Sorry if I made you Log-in. Safe boating and catch many, once we can safely manage the water ways.

I like to see the flood gates open up for a while so we can catch fish below the river..
