has anyone fished the barge at joe pool lately how are the crappie biting?

Not real sure but I've heard the spillway gates are open....

Why on earth ar the gates open, lakes no where near pool!!! Did gain a foot or so with this last rain, lookin a lot better.

you are lucky to catch anything at the spillway due to extreme over fishing, but the barge can be good at times

can anyone tell me if the spillway is still open or who i can contact to find out. i tried the corps of engineers and all it was was a recording. tried the state park and lynn creek know one can tell me.

Yes they are good kids, I met both of them last year at Eagle Mountain with Mat. Sorry to hear that there is trouble, but personally i dont think this is a place to discuss personal family matters.
