WOW...NOW THOSE ARE WHOPPERS!!!!!!! :  Now can ANYBODY point me in the direction of some of these bad boys!!! I've just recently got into gills a few months ago from watching/learning tips on here!! Still searching for the big boys so I can get my first gill fillet! Don't worry, it'll come soon I hope

Nope, no hybrids. Most of the biggest ones were coppernose, but the first two I posted photos of were pure northern-strain.

Most of these were probably three or four years old. They could have been younger but probably weren't any older than that as I stocked about 60 coppernose in the 6" range, that were one year old at the time, in this pond in 2012. A lot of the big ones we caught looked like crosses between coppernose and northern-strain, in which case they would be no older than three years.
