Just has two of the nicest days on Palestine. The weather was perfect and fish cooperated. I was able to stock my freezer up Thursday and then took 5 awesome guys out today. There's a major shad spawn going on and lots of hungry fish eating them. Pepops jigs as well as slab bandits caught all our fish. I had the pleasure of meeting Roachie yesterday, very nice guy. Here's a few pics for your viewing pleasure.

My cell battery was almost dead so I didn't put much info in my post. Here's little more scoop. Theses a major shad spawn going on and these fish were gorging on them. Lots of smaller fish early but most of the bigger ones later and shallower. PEPOPS Lake Palestine Special and Sour Apple worked good Thursday. Today Texas Toast Slab Bandits were the ticket today. Most of the big white Crappie still had eggs in them. I hope everyone got out and enjoyed these great days on the water. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions or to book a trip.

Ronnie, We were using the 1 3/4 inch ones. All of these fish were caught on the 155 bridge and south. Todd, I would love to have ya'll over to Palestine. Just let me know bud.
