I am a couple weeks away from getting my first yak and looking for fellow anglers to fish in Ray Roberts.
Early mornings on weekends are ideal for me, so if you are willing to let me tag along please let me know.
you have 2 ears and 1 mouth, use them in that proportion - my granddad

I too am wanting to get out on Roberts in my yak. Just haven't gotten around to it. Brad and others who fish it. Anytime y'all are heading out. PM me or make an invite post. I bet you get a few to tag along.

Don't recall ever seeing a yak on Ray Roberts. But then I most always fished main lake brush piles for crappie. I always had respect for smaller craft though.

This weekend there seems to be a whole lot going on. Angler demo day. MSKFC tourney etc. Next weekend is Mothers Day weekend. What if we made a possible get together the next weekend Sat May 16th?

I was in a bass boat yesterday on Ray Roberts and found myself wishing I was in my pro angler. The amount of flooded stuff is unreal and the fish are up in it. There is something to be said about being able to sneak/push/paddle into flooded bushes without charging through there with the trolling motor on high letting every fish know you have arrived.
If you are a topwater fisherman you better get ready, its about to bust loose!

I kayak fished Ray Roberts this weekend and most of the people on boats would slow down when they got close to us. On the other hand the Jet Skiers just kept flying by us
