Most go out of big break, russo's, Stockton, orwood, and Tracy oasis! All those marinas are in big fish areas, or very close. Saw a few boats on basstrak go north of the launch ramp yesterday. Bet their bags weren't very big.

It has been good in the past, but alot of it is too brackish and too affected by storms etc. The atchafalaya basin used to be really good, but storms and the changes in the water flow have made it not what it used to be. Used to take over 20 to win there on a regular basis, and that was with northern strain only...
