Lake is in good shape to fish. It's a beautiful day. I will be there. I would be good with a 100.00 entry. We all drive 30k plus boats and we worry about 50.00 kinda crazy. Sent everyone at dove loop. Weigh in is also at dove loop.

I don't understand how we can put 15 plus boats on lake bridgeport and only 5 boats on Grapevine. Makes no sense. However thanks to those that fished. Will try again next week. If not any more intrest that 5 boats I won't be hosting and driving all the way from Decatur any longer. Someone suggested 7 to 10PM. Any thoughts

I like the 7- 10pm
Starting at 6 doesn't give people much time to get home, grab the boat, and still make it by start.

Sounds like a good nite for me to put out 40 or 50 juglines. Hehe
From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."
Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

Leave it like it is. Nice to fish on Wednesday night without 50 boats fishing a tournament like when the lake was up.

Starting at 6 doesn't give people much time to get home, grab the boat, and still make it by start. I agree the 6pm start times have killed several of the night tournaments, it's a working mans tournament and most of us work. To be on the water and ready to go by 6 you would need to be launched by 5:45 and that's impossible for many that want to fish. Back in the day the night tournaments were all 7-10:30 and we had 20-30 boats.

Sent everyone at dove loop. Weigh in is also at dove loop. We don't all drive $30K+ boats and have an extra $400 a month to spend on a working mans tournament. Even at $60, that's $240 a month, which is a decent boat payment. I know... if you can't pay, don't play... It's just my opinion, and I think you would draw more boats with a more typical working mans entry fee. I'll shut up now.
