I was there two Saturdays ago and got skunked. NOT A BITE! I saw a bunch of the "old men" out there and they were not doing well either. Ileft at 8am so I fished for an hour and a half. I figured that I can not catch fish at home too

The Office is alive, well and kicking out some very good crappie every week. The whole month of December has been a month that tests you. If you're in a hurry, you generaly don't get much, if anything. But if you stick to it, and wait for them, they'll come. The average crappie is about 11+", with some going to 15". Average morning (5 hours) produces about 10-25 fish. It's a waiting game....but it'll get better next month.

I can do 5 hours. I think I will get started later, like 7:45, instead of 6:30. I loose patients quickly when I dont get a bite for the first hour. I still have not kept my limit this year. I will need to give it another try.

Hey Mark, did you get anything tonight? The afternoons have been brutal for 4 days....zero fish for everyone, that I know of. I fished the last 3 afternoons out of boredom, for 3-6 hours each day, and caught a total of 1 fish, with a total of 2 bites. These crazy fronts....grrr

kept 6 between Bill, Don and myself. Two fro the house boat and the others from here and there. COLD WIND YESTERDAY!

I fished from 7:15 til 8:30. Had 9 keepers. had to go. Will try again tomorrow.

I should have woke the girls up and came out there. I wasnt sure if they would bite, and it was windy and rainining...ohhh well. Last chance for them to slip fish and catch some as I am guessing there will be big time runoff in the lake and the water will be mud tomorrow.


Looks like it might be tough fishing for you and your friend in town Brian...but who knows.

Tom, Monday may be a good choice, since you rarely go. The rain messed it up big today...tomorrow...hard to say...but should turn around by Monday...at least as far as the rain/water stain. I never catch anything after a big rain and muddy water...today being no exception.

Hey, Rick? I think that is your name...not sure...lol. Anyhow, if you read this thing, not certain that you do...what brand of tube did you give me this morning...the white/chart. I like them, they stay on very good.

The fishing has been hit or miss. Afternoons have not been good at all lately. The fish have been VERY particular about the jig the last couple of days. The fish have totally refused to bite on anything pink the last 2 days. It was very obvious after the rain and stained water they preferred a darker jig. Today...still zero bites on pink...but they would hit green.

What is "the Office"? is it some inside joke?
