Before I say anything else, let me state that I am nothing but grateful for all this rain. Lake Grapevine has come up drastically in the past 30-45 days, with two more feet last night. This has obviously resulted in a LOT of newly submerged brush that I'm now trying to fish. The flip side is that I'm losing jigs left and right due to the submerged brush, and all of my former 'spots' are also now submerged, so now I have to figure out the lay of the land in a different way than even just last week.
I'll still throw spinner baits and jigs into this new submerged brush, but I might also have to throw some weedless Senkos as well and some top water, just to try and save some lures.
What is your plan to work the new flooded brush from the bank?
