I fished it yesterday and was very surprised to be able to see three feet down to the bottom on the north end by the dam

I did not fish but I just walked down to my dock. Pretty clear, still 6 inches over, light wind out of the south.

Fished it yesterday. Most areas were fairly clear. Creeks were more stained. As for fishing we looked for bed fish for a little while but didn't find any. We ended up catching about 10 and they were all off points coming in or out of spawning flats. These fish were all spawned out, so I'm guessing Athens spawn is about done. We were using a t-rigged zoom u-tail worm.

We fished a fluke a bunch yesterday but only got a few bites. I would think if you get a cloudy day with the decently clear water, post spawn fish, and water temp in the 70s the topwater bite should be on!
