We have two tanks on the ranch near Abilene that haven't held water in two years. Got a pic yesterday they are now 50% full.

NTX still needs it in many areas, we're still parched up here in Wichita Falls. Lake Arrowhead is still at 20% last I checked, even with the recent rains. That rain water is just getting soaked up by the dry soil over miles of dry riverbottom/lakebed.

Got 3" this morning at my house according the gauge. Area water bodies are looking pretty good. However the major lakes are going to need a lot more.

We still need rain, some lakes are nearing full pool in the dfw metromess, but areas to the south and west still need much more rain. The drought is not over till the aquifers are refilled. We need a very wet year.

funny how some people percieve a drought and what ends one.Abilene and Breckenridge are now draining pk because they have drained every other resource but they have pretty green yards. We are a long ways from being drought free.

We just can't get any good run off rain on Lake Proctors watersheds. If we don't get some serious rain before summer sets in it's going to be bad news for Proctor. A hard/fast 6" rain in the right places would go a long way in improving the lake water level.
