They added about a hundred feet of dock along the front of the dock, 7 15 fow of water in front, I managed to scratch out 7 keepers last thursday, lots of throw back but its been tough finding shallow fish, all fish caught on my custom made Jiggily jigs, combos of grey and chartruese and lime

They have new owner and are trying very hard to make improvements for the crappie fisherman, putting in a lot of pvc trees along the front, all we need is more rain to bring the water up, go see Joe and tell them JOSER sent you check out the website HoleyHole at lake Fort Phantom

Ive been a couple of times. Not like it used to be, yes the improvements are nice; but higher prices and lack of the old locals that used to be there everyday sure does make it hard to continue to go. Nonetheless, those are some nice fish Jose.

I always look for the Joser fishing report on phantom since I fish that lake more than any other. Are they ever going to get in 1 ft out there? I have found a few in 3 ft last week but 5-7 seems to be the magic depth for me the last 3 weeks. I like them in the rocks and hungry but it just hasn't happened yet for me.

I been concern with the lack of spawning habit since the water has been down. the increase of lake access ,it seems easier people to target crappie. I haven't been pulling a lot of crappie like I used to. I contacted TPWD and they will be doing a survey in 2016 on the population.

I need to get out in my water wagon just have been to lazy to drag it out. Buddy of mine has been on a terror by the damn on water wagons he hasn't caught any shallow. He's retired and fishes a lot his name is ED Foree, you will see him and a group of guys all out in water wagons floating around out there.searching the brush piles along the damn.
