The fishing may have been slow last weekend but ever since then it's been off the chain. My group from ABC supplies in Dallas had a great day. We cleaned 37 fish and threw back twelve over 20 inch fish. Then today was even better. Boated about 55 fish and cleaned a 5 man limit of 50 fish today with Mike Harrison and his group from Certainteed. Half of the fish have spawned at this point and the rest aren't far behind. Seeing lots of box fish that were non existent for almost the entire winter. It's been a great week on Lake Texoma.

Wow what a haul. My experience on Texoma has been far different. I went to Eisenhower Monday looking to see if any crappie had moved into the Coves. Didn't find any but almost limited out on box fish stripers. I guess the little guys haven't discovered "love" and the Red River yet.

I think all this rain is going to make for a strange year. Water temp I measured was 63. I'm hoping May will be better for me.

I pretty much always fish artificials. A rigs is what I use the most this time of year.
