I know this has been covered a lot and most of you favor Lake Fork or Fish Scale Taxidermy.Have any of you used Ron Kelly? I'm not looking to spend a lot, but I don't want a bad mount. Price wise, I think Ron will be my cheapest route. I would like to see some pics of your mount if you used him. Thanks

I would recommend shopping by the quality you are looking for and not by price or convenience. Most people mount only one or 2 in a lifetime. You get what you pay for in most cases. Ron is good but I doubt he is cheap. Cheap, fast or good, pick one.

ron kelly paints a great fish,and lake fork taxidermy does agreat job also,i have mounts from both. im sure there are many others that create lifelike mounts, get pics or talk to satisfied customers with good recomendations

Ron did a fish for me in 2001. He does good work and paints a great fish as stated above.

I would not hesitate to use Ron. He's one of the best painters in the business. Real nice guy, too.

Ron has done two mounts for me and the quality is impeccable. Don't hesitate to go with him.

Hey man you can look far and wide and you will not find a better taxidermist than fin and bones taxidermy. His work is simply unbelievable, I just brought home my striper he did yesterday.
