As far as seeing 5-7 pounders called 10's- if it doesn't get weighed on a Boga Grip, it didn't happen. I have caught a 10 but it was much longer than the fish in these pics. That fish is a short, fat freak and probably full of eggs.

There ain't been a 10 pounder that looked like that in a Texas public lake since the original Lake Fork stockers were caught, J.P. Quit stirring the pot. My gosh what a gorgeous fish. Both confirmation and coloration.

I think the moderators need to warn you for pot stirring They may be placing me on ban 2 weeks for trolling. I often wonder what the need is for BSing on Internet forums. I've read post like "Man I caught two 10+ and a 12+ this morning." (and we're not talking The Bell) All I can think is, "Yep, you caught two 4+ and a 6 or 7." Yes, we have some folks like Mark Pack who break the 10+ mark every year ... and usually multiple times, but realistically 10+ fish do not come that often for the average bass angler and most haven't truly broken it with a scale weighed fish.

By the way, I'm not encouraging people to attack or question fish photos with unrealistic weights, but maybe to the folks who post photos, be proud of your 6-8 pound bass. You don't need to stretch it to 10.14 to impress folks here on the TFF.
