Had the chance to fish with Pepop for a couple hours today. We fished the south end today and caught our fish in saline bay, mouth of Flat creek, and the 155 bridge. Caught 6 good size ones in some shallow reeds in Saline but the rest came from brush and concrete 15' was the best depth. Pepops Palestine special was good along with chartreuse white slab bandits. Vern also brought me a few new colors to try. I ended up cleaning 15 for crappie tacos tonight. Hope this helps you guys heading out to fish this weekend. I've got a few open dates if anyone is interested just give me a hollar.

Daniel, I have not tried shooting any docks yet but I am sure that will start playing a part in my fishing real soon. The lake is so full right not that your going to have a hard time getting under them.

Jason one other question, what is the water temp on Palestine? Thanks for the info.

Water was 70-73 in most places.

Working in Palestine on the jr high and brought some poles looking to hook a few.

If I was bank fishing try either end of the 155 bridge. Put a slip cork 10' above a crappie jig or minnow and toss it out to the first set of pilons. You should be able to get a few that way.
