I prefer Xcalibur rattle baits.. XR50 WAS a really good bait for catching fish. I had a couple of the Gold/Black back do the same thing. I contacted them and they were "out of stock" of that color. I didn't know at the time they were going out of business. They offered to send me a couple of sexy shad baits but I said I would wait.. dumb luck! A gold black XR50 catches fish.

The fish don't care so I don't either. I think that they work better scuffed up than all new.
