It has little memory (it is pliable as all get out), it is strong (straighten out #4 hook on CBs with 17# test, and is VERY abrasion resistant and last a long time. Hope this helps. Most tackle stores are gone now. I got started on it 25 years ago. I've tried many others. It's still the best. You have to buy it on-line. Try it one time and that's all it takes. McCoys is all I use on a rod that matters. I don't use it on my panfish rods but everything else is rigged with McCoys. If it ain't yours don't mess with it!
