Does anyone have any idea or if there is an adapter so I can put a minnkota trolling motor onto a motorguide gator mount.

When I bought my 1991 tracker 11 years ago there was a MG mount on the boat and a minn Kota Trolling motor on it. The person before me had adapted the MK to the MG mount. Problem being is the
MK motors shaft is smaller than the MG motors shaft. They used PVC pipe of the almost correct dia cut it to about 4 inch long then split it down the center (PVC Pipe) placed it in the collar bracket as a spacer or sleeve on the MG mount put the MK motor in and closed the collor door and tighten it with the knob. It will work but you will not be happy with it. It will not operate smoothly. I will see if I have any photos of the home made sleeve. either replace the motor with a MG motor or Buy a Minn Kota mount and and use the Minn Kota.

a machine shop can be your friend. a buddy of mine had the same problem. spent a few bucks at a machine shop and he is happy!
