Holy Carp batman! Those fish fight to win when they're small, and from the looks of that one he could carry off small unattended children. What a nice record.

Congratulations on your State Record!!!
Thanks for all of the positive post you write too. Thanks Tony, The Briminator fly you invented has been the key to my fly fishing success. I'm glad it found a place in the TPWD record books. I'm quite sure many record fish have been caught on this fly over the years.

No, Glitter Done, I caught 3 of the 5 on a fly rod. I caught a trophy Rio on an live worm and a trophy white bass on a jig. Cliff told me he is the only person to ever catch all 5 on the fly rod. Thanks for the information! Still very impressive to get three of five on the fly! Again Congratulations.

At the time I submitted the 5th big fish award only 3 were on the fly.
