I am good for 0700

Beds were empty today. Got into a dinkathon from about noon till 3. They were loving Grandebass rattlesnakes in green pumpkin on owner 3/32 shaky heads. When we're you out the Thorpedo, I was there from 7-330.

I'm making every effort to see y'all at 7.

I fished the north east shore up by the high school Friday afternoon , empty beds not much action. Caught a decent crappie no lmb good luck in the am!

Hope y'all are slaying them. I woke up and couldn't move my back. Felt like I spent all day yesterday kayaking, which I didn't.

I was up by the north shore as well fishing all those grass plants. Also got as far up as I could in the little cove north of the main ramp. It all looks so fishy. Thought id get bit more. Water was also so clear!

That's the thing about Marine Creek. It's an SAL lake, clear water, grass, cover, structure and either nobody can figure it out or the few that have keep their lips zipped. My goal this summer is to figure it out. Doesn't make any sense that it's so tough. My best day was four bass and that was before I got my yak. None of them were even a pound, either.

Last fall, TPWD shocked up a 10 pounder that was stocked from an SAL, so they are there.

Had a great time with you guys today. Thanks for the tips and company. Got a lot to learn when it comes to fishing. Definitely another humbling day.

Did anyone get any bites? How was the wind? Any boats out there?

I know a few guys got any where form 3-8 fish. Wind was mild first thing, then picked up later in the morning. And probably 6 boats out there. Lots of kayaks and bank traffic.

Are yall posting on a FB page? I just bought a kayak and live 5 min from MC. I wouldn't mind getting out with some fellow kayakers in the future
