Hey guys. I am new to the forum, but love to crappie fish and catch bream too. Is there a good spot near Lancaster to go. I went to Cedar Creek and Lake Bardwell a few weeks back and had no luck. Is there anywhere else that kind of close that I can get a few good ones?

Oh and I made a mistake, it was Joe Pool Marine and Lake Bardwell. Have not made it to Cedar Creek this year.

Bardwell is slow as molasses right now from all the rain! Plus the dam is still open which makes it even worse

If you like to bream fish, you might try Purtis Creek State Park. From Lancaster, about the same distance as C. Creek. It's a small lake, wake speed only in boats, and has some of the biggest bream I've ever seen, good crappie and catfish lake too.
When in doubt, set the hook

I would rather die finding out there was no God than die finding out there is.
