Can anyone give me some pointers on how to get screenshots/recordings off my lowrance hds 9 gen 3? Also any pointers on how to post them on here so maybe some knowledgable anglers can help me make sense of what I'm seeing a lil better? This is a photo I took with my phone of my graph but idk if the quality is good enough for anyone to make sense of it. Thanks for any help you can offer in advance. This is Ray Roberts btw about 30 fow by wolf island last night.

It's trees, what do you want to know about them? To transfer pics you press "pages", select "files", select "screenshots", and I don't remember the exact wording but it's copy/transfer or something to the top or bottom sd card holder.

To post the pics upload them into photobucket or whatever host site you use and copy the "img" code. It's the last one shown, then paste it into the text box here.

Good deal appreciate the help. What I'm interested in is on the downscan image there is an extra tree below what I thought is the surface. Is this tree under the surface or is it a double return maybe? Again I appreciate your input and after searching through here for all different info your a well respected source in my book grout-scout. Thanks

Lowrances downscan is hard to explain because it can actually blend the left & right images together. So sometimes an image can appear to be on one side of you but the downscan will show it on the other. I truly cannot explain it but I've seen guys prove it to me with my own images and I still don't comprehend why it does what it does. It will not show double images though so it was a tree or something else, the pic is kinda hard to see on my phone so I'm not catching exactly what you are picking up.

In down scan it will show images directly under the boat with a strong signal and if it is on the perimeter it will be faint. I believe the trees in the middle of your down scan screen are the trees just to the right of your bottom line in your right side SI image and the trees that you are referring to as under the surface are the trees just off to the left of the bottom on your left SI screen.
