Went yesterday to slips at sneaky petes and things seem to be headed in the right direction. Although I didn't catch any keeper, I did catch 2 small crappie and 1 bass. Thats an improvement compared to past trips.
Plus I started seeing a ton of bait fish in the slips now that weren't there before. "should" be getting close to time.
You cant teach greatness.

Sounds great about the bait fish; haven't seem much at Pier121 slips either.

Cooked up a buffalo last night, darn fish tasted great or maybe I'm just a good cook, been searching for the crappie at the barge is like rabbit hunting at Tom thumb... they not there yet

No update on the fishing barge but Ive tried all this week at the slips by sneaky petes and NADA!!! Only caught a few small large mouth and 2 small crappie. I will keep trying in hopes they show soon.

Caught around 15 dinks and one keeper on minnows this morning fishing 8-10 ft deep. Guy at the crack got 6 keepers. Jigs were working too.
