Hi Fellas,

Its been a busy spring and just getting around to actually going out to fish. Any news you can share on Lake Buchanan on the spring run. Is it done?

Thanks in advance.

Andy

If you are talking about the run up the Colorado you got to have water for that. Now shad running the bank is just getting started and should last 2-3 weeks maybe longer.

Yep fish wind blown banks. I actually went to Cedar point last weekend, up from Highline, and to my surprise there was good flowing water coming down the river. It was narrow, chocolate colored, and no telling how shallow it gets up toward Tow, but you can be sure there were whites spawning somewhere in that current.

Thanks fellas. I live down towards San Antonio and Medina Lake is gone, Canyon is run over by Recreational boats and Jetskis aka water mosquitos and fishing can be tough. I enjoy Buchanan a lot and planning on going up there for a few days on the water. ANY information you can share is greatly appreciated.
