Texoma shad?

OP flounder Pro Angler F Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 698 Wylie	I have all the artificial baits I need, but I was wondering if there are shad to be caught on Texoma? Or should I buy minnows? I was not sure if there was a significant shad kill from the cold icey weather wed have late Feb - March. Michael

Shad were flipping in Johnson creek last night and were thick this mourning in 15 f.o.w. north of newberry creek in the washita arm... Good luck..
