It's been a while since I have posted but that's because it's been a while since I have been out. I have had a neck problem and it has caused my left arm to give me fit's when setting the hook and holding the Rod and Reel. To be honest the Crappie Fishing has been so good out of the slip I haven't needed to go.I use a spin cast rod and reel for crappie fishing that I hold in my right hand. I couldn't stand it any longer and had Friday off and a couple of hours to fish. The wind was blowing but I went anyway and was glad I did. I found fish at my first stop and stayed on fish for the two hours I had. Caught 5 big Hybrids between 21" and 23" lost the biggest of the day at the boat, when I'm by myself I just grab the jig head and lift them in. I had the biggest hooked on a tail spinner and couldn't lip him and couldn't get the net out before he pulled off. The big Sandbass were mixed in as well, I didn't keep count of them. Here's a couple of pictures of Hybrids but the selfie do not do them justice. They were big and fat.

Gene I have a Herniated Disk in my neck, had a Steriod shot and it helped some. Enough to get me back on the water for now.

I had the same problem a few years ago.Dr told me surgery was the only way to fix it.The injections worked for a few days at best then I went to see a physical therapist.He gave me some exercises to do each week,every day.They varied from week to week.Six weeks later all the pain was gone.He was able to force the herniation back inside the disk with no more drugs and no surgery.Havent had a problem since! Just a thought.

Thanks Todd,Yeah had the surgery on my knee and all is well these days. I got on a new deer lease and have been spending a lot of time up there learning the place. Havent fished much anywhere the last year. I do need to make my annual donation to the club tho.
