Looking for feedback from legend owners good or bad.
I'm looking at a new V-20 with a Pro XS so if anyone that runs one can give some input, that would be much appreciated.
I love the front deck width and storage layout and the overall fit and finish of the boat. Not really crazy about the console for some reason but I'm sure it will grow on me if I pull the trigger.
I haven't had a chance to ride in one yet, I hear they are good rough water boats.
Are they stable at WOT? Do they chine walk?
I run a Cougar and its fast but you have to really know how to drive it past 70.
How are the trailers? They look great but don't know about the reliability.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Great boats. I bought the V-20 six months ago and have been very satisfied. They are easy to drive and mine does not chine walk.

Ride in one and all your questions will be answered. The storage is awesome and they do handle rough water.

Are you just looking to get out of the cat? Anything wrong with the cat? I have been in 4 20' cats all of them were fast boats and fished even better. Legends are good boats I have no doubt but I think a cat above 75 is very stabile.

I've had an Alpha 211 for about two years now and it has been a great boat. I would like to have a new V20 but that will be later.

+1 I can run my Cougar 70-73 before I even have to think about hunkering down and actually drive it! Ive been in 2 legends, not the V-20 but the Alpha 2-11. The finish is great, trailers are reliable and they ride well. But my personal opinion is that my Cat is better than both legends ive been in. Plus the customer supoort is top notch compared to other boat brands.

Well, I'm now running a Legend V-20.
Billy and Bryan Sartin are great people and run a first class operation over at Sartin Marine at Lake Fork.
I had been running Bass Cats and they went out of their way to help me out and get me back on the water more than once over the past couple years.
The Saturday before the Ford Mega Bass tournament, my Cougar died while idling into No Name creek. I called Bryan about noon to see if he had any ideas and he said that they closed at 2:00 but he would wait around to check it out and try to get me back going for the next days tournament. I got the boat loaded and to Sartins about 3:00 pm Bryan and Billy checked it out and discovered that a diaphragm was bad in the fuel injection system and it would be the next business day before they could get it replaced. They got the diaphragm replaced and then found that the alternator had locked up so they ordered an alternator. When I called to check on it Tuesday they said the alternator would be in Wednesday afternoon, I informed them that I was leaving at noon Wednesday to head to Rayburn for the Bass Cat tournament. Bryan said that he would see what they could do and for me to come by when I got in from Dallas that afternoon. When I arrived at 4:30 Tuesday afternoon they were pulling an alternator off another boat to put on mine to get me going. There has not been many times in my life that I had a service organization go out of there way to accommodate me the way they did.
I had been looking at getting a newer boat and with these guys selling Legend Boats, it was an easy decision for me.
I have no complaints about Basscat and feel like they are fine boats. I believe in doing business with local people and supporting the guys who support me.
BTW, I do love my new Legend V-20 and look forward to many great years of fishing out of it.

I bought a used 2011 Alpha 211 last year. I really believe that the attention to detail Legend provides is second to none. Finished fiberglass in all boxes and the bilge area. I have run a few new electronics and I have never had an easier time. The wiring all runs through PVC that has openings where you would need them. The ride is great. So far I can't see myself buying anything else. I really love my Legend.

Did they ever change the devidor in the livewell? They have a great contingency program. I would consider running one at the right price no doubt.
