Hey guys,

I searched the forum and couldn't find anything on this, I'm new here so let me know if this should be posed somewhere else.

There's a little pond off of 360 and riverside in Arlington on the West side of 360. Does anyone know if that's a private pond? It's close to my house and looks like it'd be a nice place to hit on the way home sometime.

Thanks

I have fished it before. Caught some small catfish and perch. I assume the pond you are talking about is behind those apartment complexes near the golf course.

Yessir, that's the one. I drove past today and saw a couple guys down there. I'll probably check it out and take my kid down there soon.

I hit a pond that I'm familiar with and caught a couple large mouth and a small mouth. At least I got to catch some fish this weekend. banana

Thanks for the information.

haha yeah I'm pretty sure someone caught it elsewhere and placed it in there. I've caught a couple out of there.

The "smallmouth" might well have been a spotted bass. Much smaller mouth than a black bass, and some color similarities with a smallie. Anything connected to the trinity river system and its tributaries has a good chance of holding spotted bass. I catch them in the elm fork fairly regularly.

I've fished that pond. Lots of largemouth...you can see them feeding on top early morning and toward the evening. It's got crappie, yellow bass, drum and of course channel cat and mud cat. I have a code to get in the "Stone Lake apartment." You can park in the apartment and go down there and fish. This apartment is off Post and Paddock. I had no issues. Fished there a lot. PM me if you need the code. Great people. ..people walk by and ask if you're caught anything. Don't go on the golf course side...there's a guy in a golf cart that will tell you to leave for trespassing. He's non-negotiable. There's a dirt road that you can turn into but there's no sign posted "no trespassing." Yeah this old man is on Rambo mode if he sees you go through. It's not like you're on the golf course. You're on other side of the course. Good luck
