Has anyone been to Choke Canyon lately? I know the water is REALLY low, but how is the bass bite?

I was there yesterday. I did not see anyone bass fishing. They were either crappie or cat fishing.

I went last weekend and while I can't say that I just tore them up I did manage to catch a 7lb bass and many dinks. Also had about 20 whites try to kill my crankbaits, they help to pass the time though.
Pretty darn dangerous out there now and you better be looking at a gps chart while underway between Callighan & Huisache or you'll be stuck in the mud. There were several bass fisherman there and the town is now a ghost town on weekends, not many restaurants open on sat or Sunday.
Forgot to mention, South Shore ramp is completely closed down.
