Dunno about the zodius but The tatula is sweet, really light, and it has a nice grip

I killed them today using a 7'3"H tatula and a Tatula 7:3:1 tossing a swim jig and buzz bait. Pretty great set up for the money. The new shimano rods look sweet also.

I need more time on my Zodias, but so far it fishes like a much more expensive rod to me. Actions are super versatile.

Can you please elaborate on this? I've been thinking of pulling the trigger on one but haven't heard much feedback on them.

I've fished both, and both are REALLY good rods for the money. I personally like the Zodius better. The blanks are super responsive when casting. They are light, sensitive, and strong.

The rods have a fast/mod-fast taper, but a ton of power in the mid section of the rod. They load really well on the cast and respond very crisply and I've been able to throw a variety of baits with it. It doesn't feel strange to switch between a shallow crankbait and a worm/jig and fish both really well. I will have more time on the water with them this weekend, but so far, I like them better than the Cumaras.
