Man i tell you... i never would have expected to catch any reds on a little road runner.... when i look at that i think crappie! but some people were catching pretty good reds on em! What is another really underrated lure for salt?

If they'll eat a roadrunner they'll probably eat a Wahoo Wingding. Line through tail spinner bait, small compact size means anything will eat it, but big weight and big thumping Colorado blade means you can reach a lot of fish other smaller simpler baits wont. They're line thru so once a fish hits it, it is just a bare treble hook at the end of your line and the fish, no weight for them to throw it.

Those little weedless plastic frogs work awesome on reds in the shallows when there is a lot of grass to snag on.

Pretty much any lure that catches fish that eat minnows will catch a fish that eats minnows. The only limitation is the hardware; many freshwater lures just won't hold up in salt.

Finns shad by zoom 1/16 jig head and a small cork. Jerk jerk pause. I love it under the green lights.
Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.
