Really glad everyone is okay. Makes me shutter to think of that dad gum thing climbing in the boat with me at WOT. It can always be worse. I have never witnessed anything of that magnitude from no impact. Scares me the older I get realizing anything can happen. So very glad everyone is reported safe.

Lower unit bottom fin snapped as it hit the back left of the boat. Some how some way god kept both of us in the boat barely. Then the last 2 guys that took off seen us and stopped in what i believe was an aluminum bass tracker and pulled us in. We had several people help us get everything loaded and on the trailer. Its crazy just how fast things can go wrong.

Glad everyone was OK. I pulled a tracker in last Sunday on Grapevine, so it was a Tracker's turn. Glad that someone saw it and came to your aid.

Im a firm believer in my skeeter. Had i been in another boat or a smaller boat there is no telling where we would be. Its just one of those crazy things that happens from time to time but im grateful i was behind the wheel of a skeeter.

I've heard of this happening before and the motor actually coming in the boat and injuring or killing the anglers. You guys are blessed to be ok, although it had to be intense. Thank God you guys are ok.

Sorry that happened. How did you drive it home? did you strap the motor on the back deck or just drive it as the picture was?

Took 6 of us to pick motor up and lay it on the back deck then strap it down for the ride home.

Glad to hear yall are ok had that happen to a friend at Richland chambers running about 60 underneath the bridge when his whole motor fell off and spun the boat into a hard 360 missing the bridge pillar...Brand new boat at that, so it can always happen new or old.

I would have cut the cables and sunk it and got a new sho

First off I would like to say thank you to Will and his partner for coming to our aid. And to Keith and the other guys that helped get the motor strapped down. Very scary deal for sure. I ended up on the back deck against the seat post. Don't even wanna think about where I could have ended up had that post not been there. When I came too or realized what had happened, I seen Sammy draped over the side and hurried to get myself together to check on him. Apparently as I was makin my way up Sammy noticed me down and jumped up to check on me and we damn near ran each other over checkin on each other. This was not from wreckless driving or being careless. Once again, thank you very much to everyone that helped us.
