Hi all,

Heading up to Roberts in morning. Only been a couple times and never in Spring. Have no clue what general area I might have luck in?? Based on any advice ya'll might give me I would determine to launch at Isle DB or Johnson.

Never spotted or caught a bedding fish yet.

My plan is to pitch and probably crank around the stumps/trees. I guess plastic worms or lizards in black? maybe watermelon. Keep an eye out for maybe spawners. I guess maybe 10ft and less.

In the past every time I think I see my first spawning bass turns out to be a carp.

Tried to research what the TTT guys might had luck doing but did find much. Any advice is appreciated!

This ^^

You should be able to catch them on about any shallow water technique you like. Will be pre-spawn, spawn and post spawn.
