i had to replace the original charger on my Ranger 2 months ago. I did a lot of research and decided on the Minn Kota. It was easy to install and has done a great job so far. Easy to read LED lights give you a status at a glance.

I'm with Martinial, same extensive research. Actually decided on a four bank, so I could charge an extra battery if I wanted, as I usually hook up my front depth finder separate. The cool thing is, it is a 'smart' charger, and you tell it what type of battery it is and it keeps it topped off for the type it is, giving the batteries longer life- and quality batteries AINT cheap.

I've had great luck with this one. The unit in my bass boat is over 10 years old. I also have one in my flats boat in Florida that replaced a minn kota that showed corrosion really fast.
