Just a FYI Academy's have the Pelican 10'3" Bass Raiders on clearance for 369.00 I bought one and wow its soooo much better than an aluminum john.

Do you know if this is only in certain stores or also online? Specifically, I'm hoping there might be one here in San Antonio. Not sure if it applies to online, but all of the stores around Houston are running the clearance on the 10' , I had to hit several stores before I found one that actually had one in stock. Thats a great price! If you can find one at that price grab it up!
And yeah these style boats are MUCH better for fishing then a similar sized jon boat.

Oh wow! I got mine when it was 499 and my girlfriend get 20% off clearnece, and I thought I was getting a deal. Fyi if it's on clearnece that mean they will no longer be selling it so they price it low to get rid of stock

Just called the ones in the Dallas ft worth area don't have any left. I just called sucks i was about to sell my 8 ft. ,tm, and batt for $400..:(

Pelican released a new model of the Bass Raider 10E this year so Academy is clearing out their inventory of the previous models. I highly doubt that they will not be selling them anymore...just prepping for the new ones.

I just bought the last one at the Flower Mound location this evening. I also got the 30 lb Minn Kota trolling motor. I have been assembling it all tonight and realized the trolling motor does not plug into the boat outlet. Does Academy sell the electrical plug to put on the trolling motor wires so it will plug into the boat's bow electrical outlet? I want to run the trolling motor in the bow with the battery as ballast in the stern.

Yes, made by Marine Raider. $9.99. Fits perfectly because the outlet they use in the 10E is also made by Marine Raider. Get some butt splice connectors and heat shrink tubing and you're all set.

Thanks. I just went back there and bought the electrical plug. They already have the new Bass Raider up for $549. The only difference I could see was a slight color change.
