Fishing was a little tough today with bright and sunny conditions. Only got a few on rooster tails, but minnows on the bottom were able to pick up a few fish. 4lb fluorocarbon was the key to success today, watched guys fish the same pocket as us but they had big line and we out caught them 3:1. Trips are filling up quickly so book soon. Txt me at 214.901.2551 or book through Carey's website if you are looking for a trip.

Hey Nick, Nice to meet you Sunday morning. That group of rude fishermen had me at my wits end at a different spot earlier. Then I saw them Pressuring your group.
I hung around so I could join the melee if they started something. They were not as confrontational with you but still just as rude as could possibly be.
You did a nice job catching fish while they got little to nothing.

I keep telling folks light line is the secret. I was at the creek last week and meet a very nice couple. They are throwing 12 pound line with baseball size bobber. I hooked them up with 4 lb leaders, a small split shot and small bobber. They both started catching fish pronto. Scale down the line and bait if you want to catch fish.

I always used 6 # on my spin cast and went to 4# this year, crazy difference, I can go out in the middle of the day when it is slow and tuff and still pull out 20 plus whites way easier... Yesterday was a prime example, I caught 22 around 1:30 and from then till about 4 people were saying how slow it was. These tips on here are great and the info is tried and tested.

Yep it was about 30 minutes after you left. I stopped fishing and turned into a sand bass consultant.

I have not been out to Twok this year. I keep reading the reports and they don't to have gone shallow yet. Lavon seems to the be the same way. Strange year for slabs.

Tip of the Day: 4 pound line and polarized glasses

Had the day off from chasing the Massive Stripers @ Texoma. I got bored at 10 am and decided to hit the creek really fast. Grabbed a rod and my pack and hit the creek.

I limited in 19 minutes easily. All Magnum female white bass.

Just to easy.
