We caught 2 this morning and 3 this afternoon, that's 23 all day

Can you pay me up front? (Followed by the worst guide fishing trip of my life)

Only guide trip I've ever had, early 90's, but it was one I'll never forget. Here's a couple of saying I remember from our guide that day.
"You're gonna catch a fish as soon as we pass those coots up there." Probably took me 5 minutes to get the joke (that the coots were moving the same direction we were)
"Put that rod down"....as the line is floating 10 feet in the air. Lightning struck really close to us less than a minute later.
"You gonna set the hook on that fish?"....as my line has now gone under the boat working its way to the opposite side of the boat.

Man this is literally the worst day I've had this year. We've been killing them up until today!

I know where there are a bunch of 7 pounders, but we can't go there... I have a tournament next week.

When the bass are hitting nothing, throw nothing at them.

The first time we ever went with a guide at lake fork, I can't remember his name, he would break wind about every 5 minutes and say "FISH CALL!". I was a kid at the time but it still got old after about the fifteenth out of 200 times it seemed like.

This one is classic here......"This is the spot where I bring the females fishing Smitty," meaning, if you don't catch one here Smitty I don't know where else to try? I laughed my tail off and so did he!
